Last week, Marcus headed to Chelmsford to check on progress at two of Goddard Consulting’s latest education projects.
The Hawthorns School will provide 70 places for students aged 7-16 years with complex autistic needs. The new school will be a single storey building with double height volumes above the sports hall, fitness suite and entrance hall. New build residential accommodation with associated landscape works will be provided for 10 students within the same site.
The new-build Sir Geoff Hurst Academy will provide 64 places for students aged 7-16 years with Social, Emotional Mental Health needs. The development will be a single storey building with double height volumes above the sports hall and fitness suite. Residential accommodation with associated landscape works will also be provided within the same site for 15 students.
