We’re delighted to celebrate the success of Horatio’s Garden Sheffield & East.

This remarkable garden has been recognised with three prestigious honours at the Civic Trust Awards:

▪️ Civic Trust Award, acknowledging excellence in the built environment
▪️ The Selwyn Goldsmith Universal Design Award, recognising a design that prioritises dignity, choice and independence
▪️ The inaugural 2026 Special Award for Neuro-Inclusive Places, celebrating an outstanding environment designed with neurological diversity at its core

Prior to its permanent move to the Northern General Hospital’s Princess Royal Spinal Cord Injuries Centre, the project also won the coveted Best Show Garden Award and a Gold medal at the prestigious RHS Chelsea Flower Show.

Goddard Consulting were the appointed CDM Principal Designer for this inspiring project,which is already making a profound difference to individuals undergoing treatment for life-changing spinal injuries.
