The restoration of Sir Christopher Wren’s Church of St Stephen Walbrook has been successfully completed.

Built after the Great Fire of London and renowned for its striking dome and Corinthian columns, the Grade I listed church underwent a year-long conservation programme to preserve its structure and enhance sustainability. Works included stabilising the tower and nave, repairing the roof and masonry, conserving interior timber and plaster, and upgrading services for energy efficiency. A new crypt kitchen now supports community use.

Described as a “labour of love,” the project safeguards one of Wren’s architectural masterpieces, ensuring St Stephen Walbrook remains a cherished place of worship and heritage for future generations.
