The Diaghilev and the Golden Age of the Ballets Russes, 1909 – 1929 Exhibition opened at the Victoria and Albert Museum on 25th September 2010. This major retrospective examines the origins, development and long term influence of the Ballets Russes, to celebrate their first seasons in Europe a hundred years ago. The installation works included the hanging of the largest canvas designed by Picasso, measuring an impressive 10.4 meters by 11.7 meters.
